Books I've read
A collection of books that have left an impression on me, along with my thoughts about each one.
The Almanack of Naval Ravikant
Naval's tweets compiled into a book - and somehow it works? Feels like chatting with that wise friend who's rich AND happy (rare combo). His "happiness is when nothing is missing" hit different - made me stop chasing the next shiny thing for five minutes. Also convinced me wealth isn't just luck, which is either motivating or terrifying depending on how you look at it.
The Art of Letting Go
Perfect timing for this one - my brain was stuck in overthinking mode and this book basically told me to chill. Not your typical "just breathe" advice though. Actually practical stuff about what you can control (hint: less than you think) and what you can't (spoiler: most things). Now I spend less time spiraling over things that are out of my hands. Revolutionary, I know.
The Outsider: A Memoir for Misfits
Finally, a book that gets it. Vir writes about being the weird kid everywhere - India, Africa, America - and somehow makes it hilarious instead of sad. Reading this felt like someone saying all the things I think but never say out loud. Plus, it's proof that being a misfit isn't a character flaw, it's just... character.
